‘Star Wars: The Cestus Deception, A Clone Wars Novel’ – Chapter 70 (Part 2)
Sunday. We decided late last night to not go to church today so that we could sleep in a little today. We got up around nine o’clock and started our day off rather slowly. I went downstairs and worked on recording a little more. I had high expectations for my day again today, and of course fell short of my own expectations. I then took a shower and talked with Heather about the FanForce meeting today. I sat down and put together notes for the meeting and then put things together. I got done with that and then packed up the laptop and all my FanForce stuff and headed out to our meeting.
We got to Denny’s in Vestal and had a nice meeting for the FanForce group. We talked about everything that has happened and everything that is coming up. All I can say is that August is looking to be quite the busy month for the group! We got done with our meeting and I talked to Jackie a little about our plans for Dragon Con and then Heather and I headed over to “Wal Mart” to get some food and supplies for the house. We finished at Wal Mart and headed toward home. We got home and hung around a little and I worked on some things while all of us watched the movie “August Rush”. I have to say that as a musician, I found this movie AWESOME!!! It doesn’t have the best ending ever, but I would highly recommend this movie to anyone that is human! Great movie and it’s about time that an original thought came out of Hollywood. We finished watching “August Rush” and I wrote out the meeting minutes for the FanForce group and sent them out and then we all went upstairs and had some leftovers for dinner.
We got done with dinner and left the house and got some “Suzie Q’s” icecream and then came home. Heather and I watched “Big Brother”, “Family Guy”, “American Dad”, and the HBO show “Hung” before going to bed.
Okay, so let’s talk about Part 2 of Chapter 70 of “Star Wars: The Cestus Deception, A Clone Wars Novel” by Steven Barnes…..Chapter 70 (Part 2): That night, a shuttle dropped off two Jedi at the western landing pad. The clones brought them up to date on all they knew and the Jedi headed to their sleeping quarters in a small side cave. As they prepared, Kenobi told Kit he remembered that G’Mai Duris had warned him that this could turn into a no win scenario. Kit simply said that they must not fail then. Kenobi agreed, but said that knowing it, saying it, and doing it are all different things.
