Galaxy Cast 6

Tuesday.  Time for me to get back into the routine of going to work at Wendy’s.  I got up this morning and Heather had already taken off for work and I was then woken up by Tara who told me that she had done all her chores by eight-thrity, so I urged her to go and watch some TV while I got a little more sleep.  I got up at nine this morning and went downstairs and watched “Dr. Phil” while I worked on the next episode of “The Clone Wars In  A Galactic Minute”.  I recorded the segments on commercial breaks and watched the show.  About half way through the show, I stopped working on the podcast and then took a shower and started to get ready for work.  By ten o’clock I was watching “Frasier” while I was eating my breakfast/lunch and then took off for work with Heather right around the corner on her way home.

Work wasn’t bad today.  I was on sandwiches the whole day today which was a nice change of pace.  The people I was working with at Wendy’s are starting to warm up to me and are starting to treat me as an equal at the store.  I think they are all finally starting to realize that I am not my wife and that I am a completely different person.  Many of the people at Wendy’s are starting to ask me more about my career and what it’s like to be a teacher.  I tried to give them the good and very little of the bad because some of those teenage kids are still trying to decide what to do as a career and I don’t want to discourage any of them from doing their dream.  It wasn’t a bad day at work, but it was disasterously slow!  I could not believe how slow our lunch rush was and I hope it’s not a sign of the weeks to come.  If that’s the case, then work may drag on this summer.

I got done with work and came home and destressed with Heather in the living room for a while as we talked about our days.  Heather had a stressful day trying to get ahold of Dave from Spiedie Fest, trying to order parts for a project I have on the side, and then trying to get ahold of a company that actually has some cheap lightsabers for us to sell at Spiedie Fest for our charity organization.  We both needed to destress from our days so we had a nice time talking through our stresses from the day.  We got done talking and I helped Heather hook up a new tank to the grill and then we cooked some steak on the grill and had a nice dinner with steak and fruit and salad.  It was a nice dinner.

We got done with dinner and I went downstairs and played “Call of Duty 4″ for two hours.  It wasn’t bad, but I have discovered my new favorite weapon in the game, the shotgun.  I may be able to get the gold shotgun before I am able to get the gold AK 47.  Although, I have to admit that I’m getting tired of the amount of lag-switchers that are online lately.  It’s almost ridiculous how many of them there are.  Really wish the Playstation Network would do something about that!  I got done with that and edited out the latest episode of “Clone Wars in a Galactic Minute” for Episode 7, while Mike Wilkerson helped me out and got up Episode #6.  We did all fo that while I was watching “America’s Got Talent” and once we were done with all of that, I headed off to bed to get ready for work tomorrow.

Okay, so instead of checking out the latest part of our book, I would prefer you head over to the Galaxy Cast website and check out Episode #6 of “Galaxy Cast”.  Don’t forget to support the 2 Guys Talking Podcast Network as well.
