‘Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel’ – Chapter 15 (Part 3)
Friday. End of the week, payday and so MUCH more to take care of! I got up this morning with a positive attitude and had a lot on my mind and a lot I wanted to get accomplished. By the time I got up , Heather had breakfast together. We all sat down and ate breakfast together and as I was getting into the shower, Heather was heading out to work. I got done with the shower and the kids and I watched the “Early Show” on CBS for a little bit before they headed off to school and I was on my way to work.
Nothing exciting happened at work today. Yet again, I was finishing up final exams with my students. I had a lot to get accomplished with my stuents, but I do feel like was able to get it all done. I worked really hard throughout the afternoon and was even able to get the finals graded and was able to at least have the grades for my classroom processed before the end of the day. I ended up staying late after school and really didn’t leave East Middle until almost four-thirty. Not only did I have to grade my finals and finish grades, but I had to set things up in my room for next quarter and I had to have everything all set for Monday and Tuesday because I had a workshop to attend and I would have a substitute both days of the week. That means that I would not be there for my students the first day of a quarter. I hope I can handle this without flipping out.
I got done and came home just in time to eat dinner with my family. I then entered grades into the computer for my school grades and then felt better because I finally got all my grades done. I went downstairs and played “Call of Duty 4″ for about an hour and then went to watch “The Clone Wars” at eight o’clock. But Cartoon Network had decided to change the line-up order (which my guide didn’t even reflect) and so I was stuck because “Clone Wars” was gonna be on at the same time as “Stargate Universe”. So, I made the decision to watch “Stargate Universe” and then taped “Clone Wars”. So, I played “Call of Duty” for about another hour and then watched my two TV shows. After watching “Clone Wars”, I recorded the next “Clone Wars in a Galactic Minute” and then went to bed. Tomorrow was going to be another long day with a lot of things to get done.
Okay, so let’s talk about Part 3 of Chapter 15 of “Star Wars – Medstar I: Battle Surgeons, A Clone Wars Novel” by Michael Reaves and Stevey Perry…..Chapter 15 (Part 3): Then Bleyd opened the canopy of the ship with th evac suit set. He jumped from his ship to the opening of the garbage hatch noting how very cold space was. As soon as he hit the ships gravity field he dropped and then closed the hatch and was back on the Medstar. He activated the pressurization cycle and then looked out the viewport at Mathal’s ship as he activated the ion drive. The ship took off, whipping through space with the carbonite block still attached. He took off the vac suit and thought about what would happen now. An unidentified vessel would enter Seperatist space and would be unable to answer querries. The Seperatists would be forced to blow it out of the sky. The weapons they used would not leave enough evidence other than to know that a humanoid body would be found among the debris. Bleyd then changed into a carefully placed Admiral suit. He started to rehearse his viewpoint on what happened because he knew he would have to answer a truth scanner. He convinced himself of his story and there should be plenty of evidence to back-up his story. He knew the Black Sun would push their plan on him again at some point because this was only a stop gap, but by then he could putit on Filba and make more money on the bota in the meantime.
